UMAMI is a conceptual visual project exploring the relationship between the body and its environment.
The work approaches the body as a sculptural object, focusing on materiality, tension, and non-rational composition.
It explores how form, surface, and surrounding space interact to create meaning.
The project was developed through concept building, visual direction, styling, and photography.
Inspired by the work of photographer Ben Zank.
Developed as part of an academic photography and directing course,
in collaboration with Alex Astafiev and Inbar Zigelbaum,
under the guidance of Dafna Eichelbaum.
